MES Implementation Consultant (Contract)

Implement the manufacturing execution system that tracks raw materials to finished goods and ties the shop floor to the client's ERP.

What you'll do

  • Lead MES requirements workshops with production, quality and planning teams
  • Configure work orders, routings, genealogy/traceability, quality checks and OEE tracking
  • Build and test MES–ERP integrations (production orders, material consumption, inventory, labor)
  • Support data migration, user acceptance testing, go-live and hypercare on site
  • Train client super-users and document standard operating procedures

Requirements

  • 5+ years implementing MES/MOM platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell Plex/FactoryTalk, AVEVA, DELMIA Apriso, Critical Manufacturing)
  • Integration experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or Epicor ERP
  • Working knowledge of ISA-95 and shop floor processes
  • At least two full-cycle MES go-lives

Nice to have: Regulated industry experience (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, AS9100, IATF 16949), SQL and REST API skills.
