Contract Prompt & Workflow Engineer (Force-Multiplier Role)

As a Contract Prompt & Workflow Engineer at Value Driven Solutions, you'll serve as the catalyst for AI democratization, designing intuitive prompt libraries and agentic workflows that empower non-technical portco teams to 5-10x their output in high-value areas like marketing campaign ideation, customer support triage, and M&A due-diligence summarization. Involving up to 75% travel for immersive workshops, you'll conduct usability audits to pinpoint bottlenecks—such as manual data synthesis or inconsistent query results—and engineer solutions that scale to 500+ users, delivering $10M+ in productivity gains through reduced cycle times and error rates.

Your toolkit will include advanced prompt engineering techniques (chain-of-thought, few-shot, tree-of-thoughts), workflow orchestration with tools like LangGraph or Airflow, and evaluation pipelines (LLM-as-judge, A/B metrics) to refine for reliability and context-awareness. You'll integrate with enterprise LLMs via APIs, build custom GPT wrappers with role-based access, and ensure compliance with data governance (e.g., PII redaction). Collaborating with UX designers and ops leads, you'll rollout via phased betas, measuring success against baselines like task completion speed and user satisfaction (NPS >70), and iterating based on feedback loops. This role is perfect for creative problem-solvers with a track record of viral internal tools that transformed team dynamics.

Through VDS, you'll shape standardized prompt playbooks for the portfolio, gaining visibility into multi-sector applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and redesign workflows, developing 12-month adoption roadmaps with quick-win prototypes.
  • Craft scalable prompt templates and chaining logic for diverse use cases, optimizing for cost and latency.
  • Implement monitoring dashboards for workflow health and user analytics (e.g., via Datadog or custom).
  • Lead training academies and co-creation sessions to build portco AI fluency.
  • Benchmark against industry standards, recommending hybrid human-AI processes for edge cases.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in HCI, Linguistics, or CS; 3+ years in prompt engineering or NLP ops.
  • Proven scaling of AI tools to enterprise (e.g., >300 users, >$2M savings).
  • Expertise in OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and evaluation metrics (BLEU, semantic similarity).
  • Strong facilitation skills for diverse audiences, from analysts to VPs.
  • Agile mindset with rapid prototyping (Jupyter, VS Code).

Preferred Experience:

  • Building internal tools in consulting/PE for due-diligence acceleration.
  • Experience with multimodal prompts (text+image) in creative industries.
  • Certifications in AI ethics or workflow automation (e.g., Zapier advanced).

To apply: Send CV + short note on the specific impact you’ve driven with prompts/workflows in private-equity or industrial settings to info@valuedrivensolutions.com. Include role title in subject line and your availability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
