Smart Factory / Automation Systems Engineer 

Bridge mechanical production and software analytics by programming and commissioning automated equipment.

What you'll do

  • Program, modify and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs for new and retrofitted lines
  • Configure industrial robots, cobots and vision systems
  • Integrate and commission AGVs/AMRs with fleet management and MES
  • Connect equipment data to historians and analytics platforms
  • Support FAT/SAT testing and line startups at client sites

Requirements

  • 5+ years in automation or controls engineering
  • PLC programming in ladder logic and structured text (Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal)
  • Robot programming experience (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots or Yaskawa)
  • Bachelor's in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience

Nice to have: AGV/AMR platforms (OTTO, MiR, Locus), Python, digital twin or simulation tools.
