OT Cybersecurity Consultant (Contract)

Secure machinery that was never designed to be connected, without disrupting production.

What you'll do

  • Perform OT asset inventories, risk assessments and gap analyses against IEC 62443 and NIST CSF
  • Design zero-trust and zone/conduit architectures, DMZs and firewall rule sets between IT and OT
  • Implement secure remote access for vendors and engineers
  • Deploy and tune OT monitoring tools for threat detection
  • Write incident response playbooks and train plant staff

Requirements

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity, 3+ focused on ICS/OT
  • Experience with OT security platforms (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi Networks, Dragos, Armis)
  • Firewall configuration experience (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
  • Working knowledge of industrial protocols and safe testing practices on live systems

Nice to have: GICSP, GRID, ISA/IEC 62443 certification, CISSP; ability to obtain a security clearance for defense-sector clients.
