Senior Lean Practitioner – Office / Transactional Processes We are seeking an experienced Lean Practitioner for a 6-12 month contract engagement, focused on applying lean principles to optimize office-based and transactional processes. This senior-level role targets waste reduction and efficiency gains in key business support functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mapping, analyzing, and redesigning end-to-end processes in areas such as procurement cycle, order-to-cash (including billing and collections), sales processes, and finance/administrative functions.
  • Identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities, bottlenecks, and sources of waste (e.g., delays, rework, over-processing) across transactional workflows.
  • Leading lean improvement projects, including value stream mapping, process standardization, visual management tools, and rapid improvement events tailored to office environments.
  • Coaching functional teams and leaders on lean thinking and tools to embed sustainable changes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Delivering quantifiable results in cycle time reduction, error reduction, cost savings, and improved customer/supplier satisfaction.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Strong experience applying lean methodologies in office/transactional settings, with proven success in procurement, order-to-cash, sales process optimization, and/or finance/administrative waste elimination.
  • Proficiency in lean tools adapted for non-manufacturing contexts (e.g., process mapping, SIPOC, waste identification, standard work for knowledge work, and visual performance management).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate lean concepts into practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Independent project execution skills combined with strong facilitation and change management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders in support functions.

This is a contract position (6-12 months) ideal for a lean expert passionate about driving efficiency in back-office and transactional environments.
